One of the worst and frauds. Review on Hathway Packers & Movers

I relocated from Bangalore to Mumbai, using the service of hathway packers and movers, initially I jusst went with the ratings showed on mouthshut.com, but after I have received my goods now I see how they got to this rating, I had called a couple of good companies for the quote most of them were from mouthshut ratings, the quote I got from others were a little higher than expected, but they were well established long before hathway packers and movers even came into business(that I realise now, why the other vendors were charging high) as the quote was low I selected to go with hathway, and gave my order to them, from the initial contact on the packing day it self I started having my doubts, as the labour for the packing was in worst condition smelled like they were drunk and the packing was not upto the mark, there was one guy who was handling everything rest were just roaming around, after packing was done, they took advance of 50% and asked me to pay 50% on delivery off goods, after 2 days they called me up and asked me to make the rest of the payment into their account as their truck was caught and if I dont make payment the goods will be delayed, after too many calls and arguments finally decided to tranfer the payment, they promised me the goods will be delivered in 4 days, they took 7 days to deliver my goods stopped picking my calls, and when the goods arrived they were in bad condition, sofa legs were broken, head rest of the bed was completely cracked, and all cartons were in torn condition, few other damages like a small dent in bike , indicator broken, washing machine pannel broken etc, now when I aske them to pay for the damages they say we cannot do anything, this is worst company please beware of these guys, and such thugs who attract you with lower quotes, always research first and then move forward
