I had BSNL 8 mbps 40 GB for 1500 and was very happy except they had not changed the plan in 4 years. Since the only alternative was Hathway, wanted to give it a try as it was too good on paper - 50mbps, 50GB for 999 only.One phone call, next day they installed the cable and day after the modem and activation was instant. As promised I get 50mbps down and 5mbps up.
Every day when I come back from office, I use Speedtest to check the speed given all the negative reviews on this forum. While all the bad reviews on this forum might be true, please understand that happy people will not waste time writing a good review where as unhappy people will find out ways to vent out their frustration on various forums.
Hence if you are looking out for a high speed connection, give them a try. Modem is free, installation is free.hence minimal risk. I live in Prashantnagar near Vijaynagar in Bangalore. Have no Airtel or Act broadband in my area and was cursing my luck when this miracle happened. Hoping the speed remains the same over time and this is not a first month occurrence. Happy to provide screen shots to prove the speed. I am giving three stars to their service and support not because I am unhappy, but because I have not tried their support since it has been working well.
