Is this broadband??. Review on Hathway Broadband

After being a hathway customer for now a year or so ( i  have a broadband connection , the name at least) , ive come to realise that india as a country still has miles to go when it comes to infrastructure. look at the way things happen. the connection I pay is a broadband one but I can never see it fully functioning(the data speed) . for the last one year im trying to see a streaming video on youtube but the data speed is so constant that it hangs after 5 seconds and then after a minute pause you get to see another 5 seconds.

When I asked it to the cable guy he told that the fault was mine( I used to have a pentium 3) then. Now that I ve purchased a branded Pentium core dual processor that guy is nowhere to be seen and doesnt picks up my phone. Its a good internet connection but certainly not broadband which the company so conviently claims(perhaps broadband for them is to have that much speed that a customer can open 2-3 web pages at once, or ocassionlly listen a song) . till then im waiting for some good company to arrive with a better infrastructure.
