Dear Sir,
I took a Hathway Internet connection on 28.04.2015 and paid Rs 1685.00 vide Receipt No 467201 – A/c No 1328651. I was promised the following as part of their offer:
1) Free 8 GB pen drive: It is more than 7 months and till now I have not been given the promised pen drive. Each time I call the customer care they say it is out of stock or someone will call you within 48 hours or it will be delivered in the next 3/4 days. No one calls and after 72 hours I get SMS saying that your complaint has been resolved and closed. I have called on 13.05.15(Complaint No: 12777117), 14.05.15(12786151), 18.05.15(12821536), 06.06.15(13010912), 15.06.15(131076087) and 18.06.15(No number provided). The staff are rude, discourteous and not at all helpful. Their Manager- Mr Rajashekar comments that we have only committed to give pen drive, but it is up to the company to fulfill it. What kind of an answer is this. Their executive Mr Krishna who provided the connection is no longer in their service and unable to help.
I spoke to their Nodal Officer – Ms.Deepa on 24.06.2015 and she also could not resolve the issue. I am tired of following up with Hathway and do not have the time and energy to go to Consumer Forumn. Did not expect this kind of attitude and service.
