I have recently bought a Hathway connection(50Mbps // 40GB FUP, after FUP, speed limits to 1Mbps) for my home in West Delhi. Paid for three months upfront as part of some offer. It has been almost a month as I am writing this review. I Switched from Airtel(8 year old connection) as they are only providing speeds upto 4Mbps in my area. Boy am I regretting that decision! To my utter dismay the connection stopped working the third day. During the first month only I faced all the broadband issues you can ask for; frequent disconnections, unstable speeds(yes even on LAN!) and to back it all up, an even worse customer support! Each time I would call them, they would raise a ticket and I would receive a text on my mobile in next couple of hours that the ticket has been resolved(without actual resolution), I would call them again and same cycle repeated again. Today, as I am so frustrated that I am taking time and writing this, I did an FUP topup for 10 GB after exhausting my FUP by paying the topup amount upfront via an online transaction . The speed has not been increased after 10 hours and 3 followups with customer care but the bandwidth is being reduced from the 10GB quota. Now this is cheating! I always check for mouthshut reviews before buying a new product or service.
