Changing my review from Positive to Negative. 3 weeks into the service and speed drops often. So far I have raised 7 complaints regarding speed issue. Every time I get a call next day from support team and they ask same question, do something from backend and speed gets back to normal but again it drops in some time(varies from hours to days).


This is an issue for me as one cannot just keep raising complaints every now and then. I hope someone from Hathway reads this and fix this permanently.

I have switched my ISP recently from Airtel to Hathway. Now, here on this forum I mostly see negative reviews and this was one the reason I was a bit hesitant to go for Hathway. Anyways, the sales guy contacted me months ago(2-3 months I guess) and I used to decline every time as I was happy with Airtel(16 Mbps / 140 FB / Rs. 1200 including taxes).


Then again on 31st March he contacted me with a lucrative offer from Hathway(100 Mbps / 1100 GB / Rs. 800 including taxes) with no installation charges as well. This was too good and I thought its too good to be true but then Rs. 800 is not a big amount to lose, so I took a gamble and decided to go for Hathway and kept my Airtel in safe custody.


Within 2 days the optical fibre was laid and internet connection was activated. I straight away tested at SpeedTest.net and result was good I got around 80Mbps over wifi.


A few days later the speed dropped and I called their hotline to complain, the customer executive asked me to reboot the router and again the speed jumped to 90 Mbps.


It has been 20 days since and result has been quite good so far. Apart from SpeedTest.net, I also test on TestMy.Net which I believe is more reliable. Look at the attached screenshot and this post:
