I have read a couple of reviews here about Hathway Internet connection. All I can say is that my experience with Hathway is good until now.
City: Bangalore
Location: K.R.Puram
Initial installation: I called the Hathway guys for a new connection and the technical guys from Hathway were at my place within 2 hrs. The installation took about 30 min and the Internet was up and running immediately. I paid for 6 months upfront for a 512 KBPS unlimited connection.
Usage: I did not face any problems with Hathway till date. The connection is stable and never gets disconnected. The speed is average and is okay for a day to day usage.
Customer service: I am pretty happy with the customer support as well. I had called the customer support last week as there was a mistake in my plan. I opted for a 512 KBPS unlimited plan initially, but their system showed my connection as 7 GB download free for 6 months(and only night from 11 pm to morning 9 am was free). They immediately corrected the mistake in their systems and the issue was closed in the same call.
I also feel that the Internet speed and the connectivity depends on the city and the area.
