Unrealiable...non sense customer support. Review on Hathway Broadband

I now say Hathway....it has become really bad...dont take hathway connection now...After 5 yrs of use am facing problem since almost last 1 yr...also I wud be changing to new ISP when my current one expires in Nov 2012. I had to cancel my interview because one whole day their net was down...its really unreliable...I admit it now..

Customer support is non sense...I told one customer support guy that by modem is broken, there is no power and he is telling me he will check connection from his end first if I first connect modem to pc and keep it ON..that was silly!! I told him 'Bhayia modem toot gaya hai too chalega kaise aur aap connection kaise check karoge ?\' ..He's tellinh me nahi first let me check only then I will allow engineer to send at ur place and get modem replaced.....I said 'u fool u cant understand when I say there is no power to modem and it is broken... my earlier review (5 yrs back is below = have been using it for last 3.5 months and I must say I have made the best choice amongst all service providers. The worst on I have ever come across is MTNL. It was a nightmare for me. But when I compared all ISPs on Mouthshut I was  very much satisfied that 'Hathway' is the best amongst all. I found Airtel slight better when I compared to it, but when I visited their site I found 2 cons - 1) no service in Kandivali....that means non-availability of Airtel connection 2) their rates are like 'Nike' /Bata'(kuch bhi price tag marneka!!!!) when compared to 'relaxo' or any local Indian shore manufacturer.  All I can say is Hathway is decent...i liked its prompt service support, and speed . But some times I find their connection reliability weak. but its OK. Everyone is not perfect !!....

I give 9/10 to hathway...I liked its plans and were easy to understand unlike MTNL/YOU...terrible...

In terms of security its EXCELLENT. Unlike MTNL where I was hande over the usage which actually I did not.... in MTNL it sowe me usage during 3 am and 4 am when I was sleeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....great isn't it and what a funniest pat is  I made complaints around 51-52 times...seriously...me not joking....and u know what..? I got that many no. of different reasons for broadband not working properly....1 lady over there told me 'kuch kaam chalu hai isliye slow chal raha hoga !!!!....' great going MTNL...  KEEP it UP...if DOT/govt itself is not functioning properly, how they can except others to perform well and come out with policies and recommendations and slpa pvt operators with dues/charges...... ''pehele kudd ka ghar dhik karo baad main doorsron ko gyan denaa'

At the end I would just say I LOVE HATHWAY....ITS THE BEST....
