I was one of the subscriber of Hathway's inferior broadband with Account number 1352126. I got the connection on 15 June 2015 and had paid full amount of Rs.12539 for a year. From the day I got the connection it was awfully slow and each passing day, I used to call their substandard customer call centre to place a complaint. Every day, I was assured that the service would improve in couple of hours but nothing that sort of happened. Finally getting frustrated with the poor service, I decided to terminate the contract after 17 days and on 2nd July 2015, I handed over the Modem/Router and Cables to Vimal Yadav in their Malad, Hathway office – GRN No 215766.
I was promised that the balance amount(after deducting 17 days of pathetic connection) will be refunded in 45 days of time. Since October 2015, I have been regularly following up and had sent around 20-25 emails to their Technical Team, Billing Desk, Account Department but still there is no sign of any refund neither there is any response from any of the teams. The 2 nos+91 22 66403778 and+91 22 66403771 to enquire about funds never seems to connect.
Please refrain from getting Hathway Broadband.
