Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenixis a big disappointment coming from J.K Rowling after the excellent first 4
parts, especially prisoner of Azkaban.
In almost the entire book Harry is either disappointed, insulted, sad, angry, unhappy and never gets a grip of himself. The book has very pessimistic outlook to say the least.
His Godfather is unnecessarily killed in the end, apart from behaving like a kid most of the time. Most of the positive characters in this book don’t know how to handle themselves, be it Harry, Ron, Sirius, Harry’s father ...
And the author has completely destroyed the image of Harry’s father that people had in mind after reading the first 4 books.
Intelligence is the last thing that the characters in this book display with the only exception of Hermione.
The story has been dragged to make it lengthy and the book thicker, maybe for bigger profits, especially the chapters about Dolores Umbridge’s antics .This is the worst of the Harry Potter series that I have read.
