Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'' is going to be launched 16 July 2005 and the booksellers expected to broke the record of 1.7million copies.
All eyes are waiting for the Wizard to make his appearance In India. The pre booking of the book in India is at present crossed 1, 20,000 copies. And has also been declared as the Number one book before the same is published.
Harry Potter and J K Rowling both have a very big Fan Club. People expect a lot from the Author and so does the Author do by not letting them all down.
Amazon and Tesco sell the book for 9.99 pounds making a 41% Discount from initial price of 16.99 pounds, for the pre-orders. WH Smith also sells the Harry Potter book with 9.99 pounds and is giving customers vouchers worth up to £75. Woolworths have an 8.99 pounds price, while Asda is selling the book for £8.96. In India Crosswords is selling the book for IRS 895.00 with a Gift voucher of IRS 200.00 India times is giving a Whatever Bag Worth IRS 899.00 exclusively made by Reebok for India times Shopping. There are many Book Libraries which are offering a flat Discount of 15 % on the Book Value.
About the Author Joanne Kathleen Rowling started her writing career at six with a story called Rabbit. She has worked as a teacher and has been an unemployed single parent. She wrote Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at a cafe during her daughter's naps. Ever since the book was published in 1997, her life has changed dramatically after the spectacular success of the books.
The author has already said that the Half-Blood Prince is neither Harry nor Voldemort. And most importantly, the opening chapter of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been brewing in J K Rowling's mind for 13 years. Eagerly waiting for the book to be released as on 16 July 2005.
