Story:

(I've read the entire Harry Potter collection so many times, instead of writing a review on the past books, I'm going to write what the next book will be about)

HARRY POTTER

and the Phoenix feather....

Act 1: Scene 1:

(Setting: A house at number four, Privet Drive belonging to the Dursley Family)

(Present: Mr Veron Dursley, Aunt Petunia, Dudley, Harry Potter and Hedwig the owl)

Harry is busy finishing off the few scraps of breakfast that have been left for him after Dudley is finished with his breakfast. Dudley’s diet hadn’t lasted very long, especially after the Weasley twins had tricked him into eating that sweet which had swelled his tongue and made it several feet long. Even though Mr. Weasley returned it back to its normal size. Uncle Veron and Aunt Petunia have since then been showering all possible affection on Dudley and since it was not possible to pamper Dudley without stuffing him with all kinds of cakes and pastries, his diet was definitely history. He was looking more like a baby whale now than ever before.

This summer had been particularly bad for Harry, Dumbledore himself had come to speak to the Dursleys to explain to them the danger that Harry’s life was in now that Lord Voldemort had regained his powers. Hearing this, Uncle Veron had swelled up like a pumpkin and turned into several shades of deep purple and red and had almost thrown out both Dumbledore and Harry form his house, he would have done so if he were not mortally afraid of what Dumbledore might do. Albus Dumbledore was the Principal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the most exclusive boarding school in Britain for magical folk and was the only person that Voldemort was afraid of. Since that day, Harry’s torment had increased ten fold. The Dursleys treated him like the plague and muttered all sorts of things about him under their breath.

All this while on the outside, Lord Voldemort was gaining more and more supporters each day. Harry hadn’t heard a word from Sirrus Black, his Godfather who was in the process of getting together the old crowd. Hargid had also been gone for long without any word and all Harry knew was that he was out looking for the Giants in order to win them over to their side before Voldemort did. Hargid was half a giant himself, with his mother being a Giantess who had left him and his father when he was just a kid.

Harry spent most of his day locked up in his tiny room that that had once belonged to Dudley with only Hedwig his owl for company. Hedwig would often fly off to Ron or Hermione to exchange letters so that the three of them who were best friends could keep in touch. Hermione was trying to get Harry to try and learn how to apparate or atleast learn the basic principal of it so that he could use it if he ever got into a jam and needed to get away fast. Apparition was a very difficult and tricky thing to master and most wizards preferred to use their broom sticks instead of Apparating. Hermione had sent Harry the book “The art of Apparition’’ as an early birthday present so he could start practicing.

Act 1: Scene 2:

(Setting: The Weasley's Home.)

(Present: Mr and Mr Weasley, Precy Weasley, Ron, Ginny,Fred, George, Harry, Hedwig, Pigwidgeon)

As it had been decided, Harry was to spend part of the summer with the Weasleys so that he was not at any one place for too long which would make him vulnerable. Getting to the Weasley’s house had been easy, for a few sickles he could hop aboard the knight bus specially meant for wizards which would take him anywhere in the world that he wanted. He had first discovered it when he was trying to run away from home a couple of years back. As always he would be sharing Ron’s room while he stayed there. Ron had a tiny little room stuck away somewhere towards the top of his house. The walls were bright orange in color, since he had covered them from top to bottom with posters of his favorite quidditch teams, the Chudley Cannons and unlike muggle posters, these one moved. All the players were busy performing various quidditch maneuvers and stunts, at the moment however they had called a time out and were all lying on their backs and drinking butterbeer nosily.

Ron and Harry spent most of summer practicing quidditch and improving their magic both of them would take turns on Harry’s broomstick the “Firebolt”, the fastest broomstick in the world, capable of going from 0-150mph in under 10seconds. Harry was an amazing quidditch player and was the Seeker for the Gryffindor team at school. When they weren’t busy flying around or practicing magic, they would spend their time writing letters to Hermione, the three of them together were trying to learn as much as they could about Aurors and about dark magic so the three of them together could defeat Voldemort but they were careful not to let any of the grown ups come to know else they would surely get into a lot of trouble. Ron and Harry shuddered at the very thought of what Mrs. Weasley would have to say if she came to know. Harry could clearly picture her standing there with her hands on her hips with a look on her face that could kill and yelling, “Isn’t it enough that that poor boy Cedric Diggory was killed! Now do you want to get yourself killed like him and put us through what his parents are going through.”

Harry was famous for not following rules and always managed to drag Ron along with him, not that Ron needed much encouragement and was almost always more than enthusiastic to go along with anything even if it meant getting himself killed, which only made him more enthusiastic if anything. Hermione on the other had was a stickler for rules, though this one time she was more than willing to help since she knew that Harry would have to be prepared to face Voldemort in the future and he might not be as fortunate as he had been in his earlier two meetings with him.

Hermione had a whole set of magical portions, charms, curses and spells worked out for them to practice giving consideration to their individual talents. Ron was to specialise in curses, which he seemed to be very good at, especially since he had perfected the Curse of the Bogies, despite the fact that the first time he had tried it, it had backfired on him and he had spent the day puking slugs. He reckoned it was an excellent curse to use against any of Voldemort supporters who couldn’t possibly be spewing slugs and turning him into a toad at the same time. Apart from that he was also learning the Curse of the twister, which would bend a person into very strange positions. The Haley’s Curse which would cause sparks to fly from all wands in the vicinity of the person towards that person till invariably their clothes or hair caught fire and they would have to then flee as fast as they could. It is totally unnecessary to mention the fact that Harry and Ron both did not need a haircut that summer, but luckily for Harry, his hair had the tendency to grow back overnight and since Ron spent most of his time experimenting on Harry, it was a very good thing!

Harry was learning charms and spells and also how to fight off curses. He had perfected the Confundus Charm, Engorgement Charm, Patronus Charm and Hermione had sent him information on the Catapult Charm, the Elasticity Charm and the Elevator Charm.

(At this point I'm going to take a breather so if you want to know whats happening next keep checking back on this review since I'll be adding more every chance I get)
