Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one of the best books of the series.
There is not a single page that you can find dull and boring.
As Harry and his friends enter the 4th year at Hogwarts, there is supposed to be a Tri-wizard Tournament, a one of a kind competition that deals with extremely dangerous magical tasks.
This competition is only for those who have attained the Magical age of Seventeen years. Only one student is selected from all the three schools each and they compete with each other in 3 rounds of really dangerous tasks.
The chosen candidates are Victor Krum(Durmstrang), Fleur Delacour(Beauxbatons) and Cedric Diggory(Hogwarts). But then a fourth name zooms out of the choosing lamp- “Harry Potter” from Hogwarts!
The rest of the story revolves around the various tasks that each candidate has to complete. The first task for the selected champions is to fight their way across a dragon- each a nesting mother, and to retrieve its egg. The second task involves staying underground for at least an hour, in search of their loved ones, and to bring their loved ones back to the surface of the lake.
The third and the last task is to get to the center of the maze and the first person to touch the cup wins. What nobody knows is that the cup is bewitched and whoever touches the cup will reach Voldemort instead. It is the return of Lord Voldemort that is brought about when Harry and Cedric touch the lamp together, and in the course of it, Cedric loses his life. This is the book where Voldemort returns, and chaos and panic are soon gonna begin. Read this book to enjoy yourself. And if you don't understand some thing, as I always say, read it again!;-) Thanks for reading my review.:-)
