THE HARRY POTTER FEVER. Review on Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets - J K Rowling

HI,

my name is Rahul. I am a HARRY POTTER FAN. J.K.Rowling , the lady who created the harry potter series is really a genius. for all those who have read Harry Potter know that it is not possible to keep the book down until we finish reading it.

The question is :

What is it that makes us all crazy about HARRY POTTER ?

Is is :

The magic

The story

The complicated plot

The characters

or we read it just because it is popular !

Well according to me, The first time I read Harry Potter I liked it because I felt that the book was so close to my own school life. As if the author had jumped into my memory and brought back the memories of my school life.

Even though I used to study in a school which was far from any WIZARDRY OR WITCHCRAFT , I get the feeling that the book is a mirror to my school life.

Well , I am sure many of you are not able to digest what I am saying .

Lets me count out some reasons :-

• All schools have some bad , bully students who are never upto any good. In this case - DRACO MALFOY , CRABBE & GOYLE

  
  




• I always had a teacher whom I hated and I am sure that the feeling was mutual . In this case - SEVERUS SNAPE

  
  




• My School Principal liked me .He was always calm and never punished a student until gross misconduct. He had a light sense of humour and was always fair to the students. In this case - PROFESSOR DUMBLEDORE

  
  




• I had a friend who would always be by my side and support me in everything I did . In this case - RON WEASLEY

  
  




• I had a friend who was a typical bookwork and a

  
  

know-it-all. In this case - HERMIONE GRANGER

• I had students in my school who were busy pulling out pranks all the time but were good at heart and in studies too. In this case - FRED & GEORGE WEASLEY

  
  




• I had a student in my class who was a real dud and always got into trouble for nothing. he was terrible at studies too. In this case - NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM

  
  




• I had a friendly teacher with whom I could discuss all my problems freely. He was more a friend that a teacher .

  
  

In this case - HAGRID

• I had a teacher who would always brag about her experience and talent. In this case - PROF. TRAWLENEY

  
  




• I always hated one subject. In this case - DIVINITION

  
  




• I was ok in studies but excellent in sports . In this case - HARRY POTTER's TALENT FOR QUIDDITCH

  
  

Well I think these reasons should be able to convince you.

THE second book - The Chamber Of Secrets is my favourite book in the HARRY POTTER SERIES.

I am anxiously waiting for the fifth book .

I would like to wish all the luck to the creative genius - J.K. Rowling.

p.s. I caught the movie : HARRY POTTER & THE SORCERER'S STONE recently. Believe me, the movie was nothing like reading the book. The movie failed to impress me but I am still crazy about the books.
