Hi friends, Ihad gone to Haridwar two times.I went there in year 2010 and 2012.This is a good place to get peace.Haridwar is a good place for Hindues.There are many temples and hills to watch.
Accessibility- Haridwar is well accessible place and you can reach there by train, aeroplane or roadways.I went there by train.
There are many hotels and Dharamshala available to stay.
Local Sightseeing- There are many sightseeing places such as Holy bank of river Ganga, Chandi Devi temple, Mansa Devi temple, Udan Khatola, Baba Ramdev Ashram in KanKhal, Evening Aarti in bank of Ganga, etc . We firstly went to take bath in river ganga in early in the morning and also pray there.The water of Ganga is very cold even in summer.After then we went to Mansha Devi temple which is situated at the top of a hill.We used stairs to went up to temple.There is also a tree which fulfill your wish if you tie a thread around it.There are small shops besides the stairs of temple.
Safety- Haridwar is a safe place for everyone.People of Haridwar are very friendly behaviour.Whole Haridwar is vegetarian.
