Its ok when the directors want to show a “larger than life” character but sometime they fail so miserably that its becomes “the waste” part of the movie. Anand L Rai is actually another version of David Dhawan in Bollywood, sometime the sequences on movies actually contains no logic and there you feels lie that even the money spent on popcorn and parking lot got wasted.

First, commenting about the plot and story of the movie. Probably the director Mudassar Aziz decided the title first and got fascinated with it and then the movie was developed around it. Happy’s running around was useless and it never matched with the title.

Diana Penty may be an “ok” actress but the role demanded a lot more, her dialogue delivery was looking like she is under some “zabardasti” and at some instances she equaled Katreena in unwanted acts. I still feel Kareena is the only useful actress when you want to portray characters which are Happy go Lucky and free from every prejudice(remember, Jab We Met?). Jimmy shergil was wasted and Abhaay deol could do justice to the role. Piyush Mishra was class as always. I don’t count Ali Fazal a good one so no comments about him. Victor Banarjee suited to the role.

There were some actually useless sequences which were depicted in Pakistan. Imagine someone is getting married in Pakistan with Hindu ritual, flames are coming out of the hawan kund and no one is noticing? Isn’t it strange?(That’s why I said, David Dhawan!). Happy could easily offer Indian notes to the auto driver and there was no reactions?

The biggest problem which is feel is with portraying of Happy Kind of characters which says “you know I am what I am, I will do whatever I want and even can go and defeat the entire Pakistani army with my take it easy attitude”. Too much impact of south Indian things on Bollywood?

So, Dear Directors, Please show us some realities, as an audience we are sick of watching useless non-real things in movies and please work on characterization.
