Hanuman marks the entry of Indian producers in an arena largely restricted to Hollywood - Animated Movies. Not that there have'nt been movies in this category from India, just not as well made and certainly not as successful.
The music score is catchy and phenomenal and the baby Hanuman is a hit with babies and adults alike. The dialogoues seem somewhat irrelevant and heavy in some places especially thhis one by Lord Shiva "Mein is awataar main brahmacharya ka palan karunga", I am not sure the kids needed this or if they even understand the meaning. In such cases they seem to have an unclear target audience, they could added some really cool dialogues which would have an even better impact on the audience.
Everything apart, it is one of the best movies made under an Indian banner so far and the business it did speaks volumes. The VCDs are somewhat pricey though at 169/-, though I would understand that they are trying to cash on the success as much as they can. This is one set of VCDs that anyone with kids at home MUST own.
