Although Halloween movies are my all time favorite- I must give Clive Barker credit for this made for TV film...
“Saint Sinner,” a Sci Fi Channel original movie, depicts a 19th- century monk played by Greg Serano who travels forward in time to modern day Seattle to save the world from two beautiful and murderous demonic spirits. Here he is plagued with two classic problems, how to adjust to life in the 21st century and his own personal battle between good and evil. Throughout the movie he seems to have a healthy amount of both and at times it seems that the demons may win him over.
Some viewers may be surprised to see that it is not identical to Clive Barker’s story. This is done on purpose however, the exclusive Sci Fi movie is meant to draw off themes of the original story and not depict actual events.
Clive Barker fans have a visual feast to look forward to with the outstanding effects and sensual scenes. Some more sensitive fans should be warned however because some scenes are sexually explicit bordering on offensive. The demon girls have that dark sexy evil vibe and Greg Serano draws the viewer in with a deep handsome presence.
In the end Serano teams up with a local detective to end the demon girls rampage on the city. The movie combines the latest technology and music with a timeless theme of good and evil to create a sexy and mysterious moral masterpiece.
