It is really difficult to pen down a review for 250 pages of crap. But here's my attempt at doing the impossible. I try not to be very hard on writers but this book does not deserve mercy.
So, this novel again follows an unpredictable plot, one in which you will want to jump to'those' pages and then toss in the trash. A Bihari boy, who does not speak english so well(ooh, I didnt see that coming) meets a Delhi girl who wants to be friends while the boy misconstrues it as a relationship(again so predictable), now what here is the twist, lets become a half girlfriend/boyfriend. Sounds like the desi version of 50 Shades of grey, or is it 50 shades of creeps.
It is interesting that this books is supposed to have represented the common man. Well it does in a very uncommon and disgusting way and maybe that's why it was written in such poor language. The efforts put in in developing the story seems minimal. If it leaves any emotion in your mind it has to be uncontrolled confusion and thats it.
These days I'm not even sure whether he is writing a book or a bollywood masala, that only Sajid Khan will want to direct. Hope he gets my message through mouthshut and attempts suicide. Thank god I bought a pirated one. All hail piracy in India!
