I think that Leon Uris was very factual about what other's consider an unfair depiction of Islam and Muslims in his book, "The Haj".
The truth is that one can find news articles anywhere in the world where Muslims live about identical events right out of this book, especially the honor killing of daughters for things that are forgiven in other cultures.
There are still refugees in Palestine even after millions and millions of aid money given so they could end being refugees but then there wouldn't be any reason left to fight against Israel if there were no more refugees.
The truth always offends someone.
