I lost my HTC P 3400 just afterit completed a year. Since I needed a phone immediately and so I went ahead andbought the HTC P 3400 I which is nowadays available in the market. It’s areplacement of the earlier model in terms of an upgraded OS, it uses theWindows Mobile 6 version instead of the earlier Windows mobile 5 version and ithas been upgraded with a couple of more applications + uses the latest versionof the Microsoft Sync to sync with your PC.
Since my priority was to have ae-mail phone and keeping the budget constraints I guess this model more or lessserves the purpose. This series of phones, since they are the very basic intheir genre does not hang much, even if you dare to put in some Songs or othermultimedia applications. Your purpose to store as much contacts, files andbusiness data will be served readily without to much pangs.
I must caution users who want aphone with business features as well music/camera functions this phone won’t dothe work for you. The camera this time is 2.0 MP one as against the 1.3 MPcamera they use to put in their earlier versions. But the quality is still thesame and is without a flash. Though the music thru the earphones is not bad.
The strength of the P 3400 liesin its battery life. And even with its full applications running it will giveyou a runtime of 12 HRS, a fully charged battery will give a continuous talktime of 7/8 Hrs which is goodconsidering the price/make and quality and other factors in mind.
Another plus us that this timethe phone comes with two back up tools and you can install any of them to yourPC. Each time you sync up the back up (I have installed the Sprite one) willautomatically update the back up on your computer. No need to mention the PCconnectivity is good. The quality of the stylus is goodand they provide the set with an extra stylus. The quality of the touch screenis also somewhat improved from the last time. It is a good choice forbeginners/ who fancy a touch screen phone/ basic business phone users and havebudget constraints.
