I have HTC phone since two years. Its a phone company with big promises and NO delivery/customer care.
I am struggling to get a response from HTC customer care on the issue of my phone's broke display. I sent following email to them on 19 Feb 2014(9 days ago) and had been following up every couple of days. They just send an automated response and then no action.
Customer Care:
I have a HTC Sensation XL phone. Its display got broken and need to be replaced. I have sent my phone to Hyderabad service center(contact: Sunil Babu) as I shifted to Hyderabad recently. I had a similar incident last time when I got it replaced from the service center in Jaipur.
At that time the Jaipur service center replaced the entire LCD unit while only display needed to be changed. So I followed up with customer care and later on my money was returned. Around 4K off the Rs. 6400 bill. I forwarded previous time's email to Sunil Babu working in Hyderabad service center. complaint case no.: C2012003652601.
Sunil Babu informed me that again the entire LCD needs to be changed which costs around 9K now. I am unable to understand why are you guys not replacing the display and LCD units separately since they are available separately in the US.
Plus my brother has a Samsung and they do separate parts too. 9K is too high of a cost and one could buy a new phone in that amount. Could you please get the display replaced and tell me the cost for it?
Please respond at the earliest. I need my phone back asap.

My phone has been lying in the service center from 15 days. I am really frustrated with HTC now. Hence I want to file this complaint against them.
1.They harass customer by not responding at all.
2.They cheat customers by bounding them to pay for extra parts not even needed.
First time this issue happened that time also I had to go through a lot of stress to recover my money. This time when they already know the case, they are simply choosing to not respond. I do not want their service at all now. I paid my hard money Rs. 36000 while buying this phone and have spent 2.5K on top of that in repairs along with bearing so much harassment.
I WANT my entire money BACK and they can keep their pathetic phone with the screwed up service center to themselves. I would never trust and recommend HTC ever to anyone.
