HTC products look - 10 out of 10.(exceptionally great)
Product Performance of HTC Desire U - 3 out of 10.(I am really being generous here)
Battery Performance - 2 out of 10.
Design - 2 out of 10.
I know I am no expert on cellphones - but above ratings are from a user who has used sony/samsung wave/ Apple/ LG / nokia phones in the past.
Saved contacts appear as "unknown" in my call logs and received SMS! Such is the poor quality of the software inbuilt. It takes me well over 6-8 seconds for me to make a call after selecting the contact from the search contacts page. Search contacts itself provides results literally after ages. and the best part is that the contact does not show unless you go to the specific contact group where you saved the contact!
It is frustrating to use the product to say the least.
It took me some while to figure out how to activate both sim cards in the phone. - some settings were required. and then for a little while I could use both simcards in the phone. however I don't know whether to blame the phone for poor network in either of the two sim cards. maybe it was poor network . or I sincerely don't know if I can blame the phone for that. Probably if I did not have other problems - I would have managed this issue.
All in all - I repent having made the purchase and will look to exit this product as soon as possible.
