I've used this phone for the last two years and am now upgrading. It has served me well but found the internal memory is no longer sufficient for me. In the end though, a great phone for the price I paid.I have to mention that if they were merged the phone cant read anything from sd so you have to format it any way either external or internal.You have to go to setting>storage>sd then choose format sd as external but all your data will erase becase it format the sd first and then change it type.I am in need of help, if someone can I will be most thankful.
Due to some reasons I have to factory reset my HTC 816 but due to marshmallow-6, my internal & external memory was merged. I removed sd card before reset the mobile. But now I am unable to use the sd card in my phone. Message appear format the sd card.
