HSBC, almost 150 years old institution having world wide presence, and providing full range of banking and Investment related services.
I am having relationship with HSBC both on personal and commercial basis. But am sad to state we expect more from this giant organisation.
On personal basis, I have saving account, fixed deposit, Loan account, Stock account and Credit card. The service is poor both for Stock account and Credit card. Loan account service is bad and lesser said about is better. On credit cards, attimes even I have complained about wrong debits but still banks insists on payment first and then refunding the money to me, which is unprofessional.
lesser said is better. They why do I have my account with them? Well as my all banking relationship is with HSBC it would be not practically possible to shift everything to other bank so I am continuing with HSBC.
On commercial side, our company has various relationship with bank. Even we have investment advisory services from their Europe based entity. Their service is too lousy and makes one feel and think as if they are doing a great favor by serving the client. The raj-era still remains visible.
HSBC meant to me
H = HIGHEST
S = STANDARD in
B = BANKING
C = COMMUNITY
i feel sad to change my view based on my relationship with them in last few years.
