HQMT is Simply Best Ever Online MT Training. Review on HQMT, Bangalore

Hi friends, usually people come here to write bad things about companies.  I would like to review in detail about HQMT Online MT training, so the readers must get the true facts in detail about HQMT reviews.

I would like to express my thoughts about my reviews about medical transcription institutes.  I joined HQMT in year 2008 December from Mangalore after my friend Venkatappa who works for Ajax referred me.  I was uneasy about online learning concept as I was not tech savvy.  I visited HQMT center to have more details and I attended Saturday's seminar at HQMT Vijayanagar after I got SMS.  I had to attend almost 3 hours demo on Saturday which was very tiring but useful to get clear picture about how the MT is done online.  Then I took decision as my friend forced me to join but I was skeptical.

After joining on Dec 23, they took 1 week to confirm my payment of 10k(first inst, total fees is 15k) as I had to call them 2-3 times but after that Mr. Deepak called me to come online via skype and he instructed me to use Tm viewer to access my PC and download but as net was very slow it took almost 13 hours to download and next day he installed all the aps in 2 hours.  Then I got access to their website https://learnmt.net for recorded tutorials, and I was asked to attend classes using https://dimdim.com but sound was not there but again they accessed my system and helped me out.  Initially, they told you can learn in 2-3 months but I was not able to understand files and I requested them to extend the course and they agreed.

I was not getting proper SMS alerts, so I had to change my number to get SMS alerts and they also updated in skype.  Syllabus was not in good order, so I had confusion about how to go but they cleared the doubts using live class.

Dr. Rudresh was very nice to explain complex medical terms using simple prefix-suffix rules and there were many revision classes.   Online classes were easy to understand to clear doubts, but there were many technical glitches like sound issues due to slow connection.  I started transcribing BMT files after 5 weeks and I was getting correction reports from Manish.  Trainer was also correcting files online and was explaining the errors which was very useful to improve my quality.

After 5 months, they asked me to transcribe some OJT files but they were not easy, so I had to do and redo again and again to improve my quality.  After 1 month, I went to Ajax at Mangalore for job, they asked me to take a test but they told they do not have home MT facility, so I had take test just for experience.

Then I had gone to Bangalore to HQMT, then the game some address, but most of the companies said I need to work in-house for at least 3-6 months which disappointed me, then again they gave one address at Infoscript at Dommalur.  They gave me online theory test and 4 voice files which were very tough, but after 10 days I got call who said I have just cleared the test.  Then they asked me to come to Bangalore for one week induction program and I agreed for that.  Then I started home trans job with with no confidence but company again gave me some live files training which helped me to improve my skills.  MT is really big field and one has to keep learning throughout the careers.

After working for them four 7 months, I got a home editor job from Focus MT at Koramangala Branch.  I started working as Escription editor where I have to just correct the mistakes.  Now I can edit around 2.5 to 3000 lines per day.

Now, I am very happy man to work for Focus and I make very good salary(Rs. 50 to 65, 000 pm) as I work hard for almost 10 to 12 hrs per day, which is a big salary for me as I am just a Bsc graduate.

Now I am very glad that HQMT trained me very well to reach my goal to work for reputed company from my home.   I used to get very good mentoring and counseling about home trans jobs as trainers themselves have worked as home editors.  Initially MT is difficult to learn as there are huge list of medical terms and difficult accents but practice makes you perfect.

Personally, I suggest HQMT for online education in India and I have referred my natives who also got jobs at AccuDoc and Cerebra.
