Computer restarts as soon as power goes off, its not an ups . Does not go by the name. Several of my friends has lost their money buying this UPS. I have lost faith in HP products. HP support replaced the UPS and issue came back after that later on .
I will never recommend this product to anyone as its a failure.When I manually turn off the power to the UPS it switches / relay works fine, but if actually if there is a power outage the relay does not work and the whole system (computer) restarts.
