I purchased all in one printer HP Officejet Pro L7380 in Jan, 2008. The printer never printed on installation and after a month I was given a replacement that printed hardly 10 pages before failing again.

I contacted HP who never responded, instead made me answer a questionnaire thrice with no solution for my complaint. After three months the printer was gain replaced. For next two months I didn't operate out of fear of another breakdown. The Printer is very heavy and bulky and the carrying to service is a difficult task. After two months I took some scan copies and the result was OK.

Thus I started using the printer on high necessity and after a total print out of 40 pages, the cartridges showed empty. I replaced them for Rs.2800/- which printed less than 28 pages before an Error message started appearing." The following ink cartridges appear to be missing or damaged cyan(C), magenta(M) , yellow (Y), black (K)". When this message comes no function works.

I took to Service who asked me to replace the cartridges again for Rs.2800/-, but the message continued and mean while the warranty time has elapsed and the Great HP Company Gave me a GREAT OFFER that they will take back the Printer and I can buy any new model costing more than the cost of this printer at a VERY SPECIAL DISCOUNT of 5%. That is I have to pay 95% of the cost of the new printer of my choise. I took a decision that if I need to print I will carry the matter in Pen Drive to any DTP and get it printed
