It looks nice on their advertisement copies to claim that they have 24 hour helpdesk, call centre.
Here is one...HP 24 hour catridge ordering service.
My printer decides to quit half way down important job...at 2200 on Saturday, not exactly unearthly hour....
So what does one do...try the published 962812123 all india contact number....A recorded completely un-intelligble voice announces that the number has changed and the new number is...blah-hmm-blah-hmm. You call them three times to catch that number...
By the way, all CEO, particularly the big guns, should spend an hour every year calling up their own phone in services to see, rather hear, for themselves if they can make sense of the silly announcement, cat calls, ups and downs of poorly recorded messages announcements. That would be a very useful exercise for them to decide how much these phone-in services are actually damaging the company's brand reputation & service quality....
Back to HP .... possibly, thanks to the merger or other chaos that they have initiated on their own, now atleast we hve a new 24 hour phone in number to order cartridges!! So you call 1600 444 999.
Here goes another recorded voice, this time around a lady voice, in a hurry, 'thanks for contacting HP, we work MON-FRI 0800-2000...and Sataurday....'' well even the recorded was is in a hurry to bolt for the week-end. You call in again to reconfirm that you are not directed to another number.
No, false hopes; indeed their 24 hour cartridge service is a hogwash.
How easily and how often these guys take you for a ride; that is the situation in a major metro like Chennai.
God bless the blissful customers whose resilience should be constantly improved thru such experiences to put up blatant lie and false promises. As the market share of these unethical organisation increases, they become so much more innovative in their lie and promise of 'allways available service'.....
Even Chennai is active at 2200.....let me go out for a walk in the cool air (should I say less hot) air....may be the serious print job will have to wait until HP decides to open their 24 hour shop on Monday!!
