I had opened a account with HDFC bank 4 years back, they issued a credit card(Master Card) on the basis of this account. Initially HDFC gave lot of offers and Variety of discounts.
I was very happy because first year there was zero joining fee and told me there won't any annual charges only if minimum purchase exceeds 30000 INR. Other benefits also like 10% off on movie ticket, discounts on dinning bills and many more.
Credit cards offer you a host of benefits and are extremely handy. They are universally accepted and facilitate cashless transactions across millions of merchant locations across the world. You can use a credit card for e-shopping and making online bill payments
But after one year they put a annual charge on my card, I launched a official complaint, they told me min purchase should exceed 75, 000 to wave off annual charges.
I really felt cheated, then again I faced lot of problems in redeeming my points.
So finally in January I decided to quit my credit card.
I don't want to recommend this card. But if you wants to enjoy lot of benefits and offers with a high cost attached to it, then you should have a HDFC Master Card.
