I had bought a HDFC UL Young Star Suvidha Plan on 25th Jan, 2008 and
made an initial payment of Rs 40, 000/- for the same. I recieved a
temporary receipt for the same on 29th Jan, 2008. However it has been
more than a month since then and I have still not recieved my policy
documents. I have repeatedly called up the customer care which is
hardly of any help. I had been tricked into taking the policy from an
executive of yours who sits in the Vikas Puri branch of called Miss
Chanchal who has been giving me one excuse or the
other and for the past 2 weeks has stopped taking my calls.
Also, the ombudsman page on the website
(https://hdfcinsurance.com/singlepgs/ombudsmen.asp) does not have
the correct telephone numbers for Delhi office.
The response has been pathetic from all contact numbers of HDFC SL. Please do not take any policy from them.
