I made a online application for Click 2 Protect Plus in Oct 2015 from that time my life became miserable. I had made a mistake in my Date of Birth and I got that corrected.
They said you need to get medical done and I was ok with that. Then suddenly one day they call and send mail saying medical is tommorow on a weekday and a working day. Then I had to ask them to schedule it giving some advance time and all this took a month's time and I went though the test.
After a month when I requested they asked for one additional test and when I asked through another channel they said 2 additional tests are required. You ask them in separate mail or phone and you get a different reply.
After getting the additional medical test when I ask for the poposal details I get a question back asking if the 2nd medical test was done or not.
Appears HDFCLife neither tracks mails nor any responses from their customer service teams.
Nobody seems to know anything about insurance nor anything on the status of the proposal.
Finally after much fighting and hassles I got the proposal completed.
One of the reasons provided for such pathetic service is sudden overload due to newer members etc.
Lesson is never but insurance online and also be careful about insurance companies
