I've been struggling with HDFC life to surrender my policy for the last couple of months. I've called their call centre multiple times and have written to them on numerous occasions only to receive different and incomplete information from the staff. It has been such a bad experience dealing with them.
Incorrect information, poor customer service, arrogant staff, poorly trained staff, no policies and procedures in place, misleading customers. I can go on and on about how disappointed I am with HDFC Life. Refrain from dealing with them, it is only going to be a waste of time and energy.
