Unfortunately I applied for HDFC life click to protect plus income policy on 29th July and uploaded all the documents required with self-attestation.


After 2 days got a call from their call center saying that I have not submitted the permanent address proof which I already submitted while applying for policy.


She doesn't even know what she was talking & kept the phone. Later I followed up multiple times with customer care & uploaded the document again. And I also sent the same on mail also. But still they say they don’t have that document. HDFC is a big cheating firm. no ethics & no transparency.


My application number S100000233054. Even I don’t know how to cancel this and get the refund.


Additional info: I called customer care on saturday(8/8/2015) to know the status.That time they said that "we received all your documents & would you like to go for medical test!". It came as a surprise to me, in general, once you receive all documents you call the customer to check with the availability for medical test.


At last they fixed an appointment for 9.00 am Tuesday(11/08/2015), but pity part is I didn't get any confirmation mail till now. Hope they took appointment in AIR and not in computer.Get ready for all this if you decided to go with them.also think about settlement in your obscene why because, applying for policy itself is nightmare. Only god knows about settlement.
