Dear HDFC Life
It is said that it’s not the company bad or good, people are…Since a company is a group of some good or bad people I believe I have met with Bad Ones.
On 15 May 2011 I got few calls from HDFC CREDIT Card company to buy HDFC Life on 0% EMI Option and give my go ahead. Then I got a call from Mr. Sanj (9716666) from HDFC Life, Sec -15 Gurgaon Office for the appointment. We met and I gave my go ahead for the HDFC Crest policy (Ref No 14391585)with a premium of 25K. All the documents have been collected from me on 16th along with my Credit card details and sign off for EMI option.
I was happy that I have made one good investment the way it was explained to me. Than My Credit card account debited a lump sum of 25k with no EMI Options as promised by the representatives of HDFC Life and Credit Card Company.
On enquiring I have found that employee has given no intimation to Credit card company to convert Premium into 0% EMI Option that’s why they charged a lump sum amount thou Mr. Sanj kept saying that he has intimated the HDFC Credit card company for the same. After few days I received the letter from HDFC Credit Card Company that my premiums have been converted into EMIs but to my despair they were charging 1% interest plus taxes which came to around 3000 INR. CHEATED …Isn’t?
After no resolution running here and there I HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL the Policy. So I finally approached HDFC Life Sec 14 Branch (as I never seen the Sec 15 branch neither in office timings I have time to waste my precious time) and met the Branch manager and explained the situation. I came to know that sec 15 office and Sec 14 office are bit different in operations as Sec 15 branch people are from HDFC Direct i.e. people who sell directly on the behalf of the Company.
I approached the cashier or counter boy to cancel the policy but HE REFUSED and he made a call to Mr. Vipin who supposed to be Branch manager and Boss of Mr. Sanj . Mr. Vipin assured me that my interest amount and taxes would be refunded to me so I should not cancel the policy. I have mistaken to believe these guys as all insurance guys are fake. For almost one and half months these people keep making me fool and give assurance that as soon as their salary comes they will pay my amount and then STOPS attending the call. Few days back when I have approached Sec 14 branch again to Cancel the policy the counter boy said that policy cannot be cancelled because it is now more than 30 days Older?? Smart Cheaters Isn’t?? Why didn’t you cancel the policy when I have approached for the first time? Now he made me call to Mr. Shek (earlier Vipin) whose Half and hour has not been completed in past couple of days. Is this way a customer is treated?
I Even have filed a complaint in HDFCLIFE.COM user account but no response received.First you guys keep calling and sms full day and after sale just Kick off the customer. Not at all appreciating from a renowned service brand like HDFC Life…
