I would like to bring you under notice of the fraudulent practice being employed by sales team of HDFC Life. They are practicing fraud way to sell the policies & fooling people by making false commitment. I was called several times by different people saying that the "Agent Commission" payable to my agent was not paid due to ineffective service provided by Agent. For the sake of customer goodwill, HDFC life is reimbursing agent commission directly to customers’ current policy but to get that money I have to make an investment of Rs. 00/- as Fixed Deposit for 1 year. Once I will do this I will get reimburse with Rs. 00/-(agent commission) along with the policy amount(saving till date) within 30th March2015. This has been happening to me from the past 4-5 months and finally I relented and did make a payment of Rs.30,000/- in favour of HDFC life in Feb2015 along with all required documents. After a few days I got a HDFC SL Classic Assure Plan vide policy no.17415664. When I called back the hdfc sales person, they told me to treat this as FD and as promised earlier I will get returns of 9.5% annually and I will get approx Rs.34000/- after 1 year. After that the again they called me telling that the current policy bonus of approx Rs.82000/- is accumulated in the my current policy & Agent claimed that amount, to get this bonus I have to make another yearly investment of Rs.25,000/- to get Rs.82,000/-. I was shocked to hear this. Undoubtedly & forcefully I made another investment of Rs.25,000/- vide policy number 541. Now it is more than 2months and when I call the numbers(Mr. Kavita Sharma 42), she does not respond & I have not received any letter or Agent commission. My money Rs.55000/- is being lost in this fraudulent, I would like Hdfc life to take strict action on this type of employees. I want hdfc life to return the policy and get back my money. For Hdfc life this is not big amount but for average salaried person it is 2 months salary which is lost. Pls. let me know the next steps. Aggrieved customer, Praveen Sharma
