Dear friends, Never buy HDFC life policy as they are cheater company, HDFC bank and its services are good but the insurance is very bad, my father checked online term insurance, but initially didn't completed preocess, after some days the received call and requested to complete the process, because of the customer service representative they completed the process and uploaded requested documents, and paid the first premium, but they didnt issued policy after a month they requested more documents, as per companies request they gave more documents like income proof etc, again nothing happened for more than fifteen days after submitting documents, so they wrote mails to customer care but nothing happened, then company asked for medical tests to be done, but the nearest center given for medical test was 60km away from our house but they gave the tests successfully and passed by spending whole day for tests, Once again for a month nothing happened, so we inquired about policy, surprisingly company denied the issuance of policy and refunded amount deducting medical test costs(no medical reports was given to us)
They mentioned the reason for declining the policy was

Can be considered if applied under savings plan"
you can see how cheater they are, if there was problem in financial reason why they took months to decline, they wasted money as well as precious time for medical tests without any yield and they are very slow for just declining the policy, see what will happen when you invest your money with them in case of claim
So please stay away from HDFC life
