Firstly, when you call HDFC bank customer care they don't provide you a complaint/service/reference number so as a customer you can't track your complaint/request. I had this experience last year. I called them several times for a statement request and every time they deny the fact that I requested an internet statement. I escalated it to the zona head and got it resolved. In banking this is considered to be the basic thing. I don't know how do they miss it.
Secondly, I have a personal loan and I would like to pre-close the loan. They only have limited loan dealing branches and I have to visit only those branches. I have moved to a different place from the one I had taken a loan. I know HDFC bank branches in my city but I can't close my loan using it. I have to travel to the city where the loan branches are available by personally visiting it. How stupid is this.
I have many more experiences like this. My advice to one who is considering to bank with HDFC, please drop your plan. You are going to stuck with the world's f losers bank.
