I have had horrible experience with HDFC - Netbanking does not work properly - try registering a NEFT Third party - does not work. Try registering a new biller - does not work - wonder what works.
I could so far register only 1 NEFT third party transfer entry so far!
Though the bank has my PAN card - for enabling any service on Netbanking for the same account - they request for a PAN card.
Other banks seem much more easier than this.
03-dec=11: to add The ATM pin works through phone banking but does not work on ATMs!
Also the procedure to reset the phone banking pin / ATM pin is very cumbersome - security kills the owner of the account. Other banks provide better authentication mechanisms in case one does not remember their phone banking pin like DOB/Address etc. to get past the problem. Especially if one is Travelling its impossible to rectify a situation without this information. So much security is uncalled for.
