I was the fan of this bank from last many years.i avail a car loan of 2lacs 5 years ago. I completeed my 54 installments well in time.now 10 days before when I plan to change the car, i called hdfc customer care and ask the procedure to close the loan and tell them that I also wants to get finance for new car, they told me that I have to pay 3% penalty if I preclose the loan but they commits me to waive the charges if I take new loan from them I said its ok.they also commits me the most competetive rates of intrest as I am their previous customer.now the problem statrs when they charge more than rs 1000/- extra on and above all installments with intrest without any waiver.and they prvide me the loan for new car at very higher rate of intrest when I complainst against the same in bank they agree to just refund of rs 280 only which I refuse to take.
One more thing I completed my dues with heavy intrest and penalty after that they again charge one emi on 7th may which they refund me after one complete month I dont know about the policy of this bank they are a big froud and cheat.
When I ask for no dues certificate they told me to wait one complete month . I said when I cleared all your loan then why I have to wait for no due they said its a policy of our bank if you need that immidiately you have to pay 500/- rs extra
hopeless bank, froud staff, corrupt policies.i am fed up now and I do one big mistake that I take the loan my my new car with this same bank now only god can save me but plz frnd beware of this bank car loan I am the victim of this bank bust plz you dont be the same
