I had really bad experience with HDFC. This bank has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Your loan pre-closures will be nightmare and even more worst if you change your payment mode, you end up paying a hell lot extra as a late payment and stuff.
In my case I had an auto payment from another bank, which closed and I had to manually do it online myself which worked fine for couple of months and later they stopped accepting online and started charging me late payment fee and started deducting amounts from my hdfc savings account.
