I would welcome any sound advice about the way I have been treated by this bank .I am a British National and have used this bank for several years. My ladyfriend and I , at one time had ##laks in fixed deposits at yhe Cunningham Rd. branch in Bangalore , we got 1st. class service. We moved the cash to another bank ( HSBC) who were offing better rates.


Since then I have applied for a replacement ATM / debit card and a credit card. I informed the bank that I leave home at 8AM and do not usually return untill 7pm. so please keep the new card at the branch and I will collect it. There would not be anyone home to sign for it. I was told it would take 7 days max. It has now been 17 days and I have made 3 trips to the bank only to be told " You were not home so it has been returned to Madras / Chennai , from where it was issued". The credit card , I was told would take 21 days , I applied on October the 5th. and am still waiting. I went to the bank yesterday and was told"" We cannot find your application".This means tey have lost my photoraph , copies of my British passport , my visa copies etc. Can anyone misuse these ??. I was also told "apply again , there is a new type of formĀ  but we don't have any " ??????.I t seems that almost all the old staff who were at Cunningham Rd. have disappeared and are not present in the new branch at Millers Rd.


The staff there seem to think they are doing me a big favour by allowing me to bank with them ?? Have you clowns ever HEARD of customer service ? The best description of the staff would be - Surley , Disinterested , Arrogant , Ill-educated bordering on rude , Bored and THICK.


For goodness sake Centurion get your act together!!!
