I had an HDFC salary account which has been deactivated just few days ago. I am going to write the review with my experience on this.
HDFC Bank is one of the top level Private sector bank in India and It also have branches out of India and foreign countries. It has many many option on modern banking technology, mobile banking and its app for mobiles. they take maximum 3 days to open a new account but most of the are open on the same days when the KYC is provided by the customers. Due to having a great support of core banking you can get the full flexibility of using the account and services at any branch.
HDFC bank have very frequent ATM counter in all over the Major cities and also have good ATM service in the rural sides. HDFC bank gives many promotional discount or cashback for using Credit and Debit or Net banking on online shopping sites. Customer support team and Technical Support team is quite good and has faster service rather than the other banks.
this banks has many goods sides but I would not going to refer this for any poor people who can not effort the minimum balance which is quite high at HDFC bank i.e. RS. 10, 000. Penalties and others services charges are very high at this bank.
