I would like to share my experience with HDFC bank. I visited the bank to open an account with my all documents with me.
I thought it would take 1-2 days to do all the procedure but I was wrong. As I visited the bank one of the banks employee came to me and ask me would you want some help I said I want to open an account he said ok sir. Then within one hour all my procedure was done. They told me the account will activate within 7 working days.
And within 2-3 days my account kit arrives at my given address and my account was activated before 7 working days.
