Well.The story goes like.I went 15 days back to HDFC for requesting a Credit card as I never had a credit card and thought to get one from HDFC as I hold a salary account there. At the start, the executive told that; I would get a VISA card which comes with free of charge from the processing fee and I would be getting a standard 3X limit on salary credited.
After 15 days or so of loooooong wait, I received the credit card with a shocker: -
First; I got MasterCard Credit card instead of Visa.
Secondly, the limit was not even 1X:P; They gave the limit of my month salary itself, whereas as per commitment, I shld've got 3X.
On top of this, When the issue is raised to the branch, the executive very lightly said to use this MasterCard with 1X limit for 3-4 months and then they can change the card if not happy. I mean seriously; HDFC.!
Although, I have not even changed the PIN till date, as I have asked this exec to change the card immediately by another request and also raise the limit.
I mean, How can Bank like HDFC can act so carelessly to their customers.
Get serious HDFC Bank.! Things can only be worse with the way you operate.
