There credit card features seems to be good but customer service is extremely poor there complaints department is equally poor in terms of service.
It has been the second month of using their credit card and i'm already upset and find HDFC cards dept full of crap. It is not about some pmts I've missed.
I've received a new credit card from HDFC bank. Within the first month I've got frustrated with the kind of service I'm getting.
There are two things I would like to complaint about.
- I Asked for balance transfer and received a text message that your request has been processed. But haven't heard anything after that and neither I have received any mail or cheque/DD. Checked at both address; my house address and also at my work address nothing I could find.
Now i've received a text message that you owe INR 11420.42. I was shocked to see that. It has a due date and if I don't make the payment HDFC bank would consider me a defaulter and levy late payment charge. The very purpose I asked for balance transfer is getting defeated due to the delay.
Contacted your customer service didn't get much help, all I could get from HDFC customer service is false promises of call back. I'm pursuing this for more than a week and hasn't received the a single call. Why HDFC bother anyways all they wanted to do is sell the card and rip there customers off.
I spoke to Pankaj Kumar claiming to be the deputy manager from HDFC call center he promised me a call which I haven't received. God i'm already sick of HDFC.
I hope it is reason enough to detest any bank for there unprofessional-ism.
- HDFC sales department approached me to take this card while confirming the details they asked me which address would you like to be your billing and correspondence address. I informed them that I want my home address to be my billing address and not my work address.
Despite that my work address is updated as billing address.
