This is to inform you all that I have been cheated by the CSR of HDFC Credit Card Division. I was promised by on of there CSRs that my purchase will be converted to EMIs. On this assurance I made the purchase of a laptop using my HDFC Gold Credit Card.
After I made the purchase, I called up the CSR and requested for conversion to EMIs. I was first told that it will be done in 48 hours. I waiting and called back again and then I was told that it could not be done as my card did not have that facility.
Now I have a burden of 36000 Rs on my head and do not where to go. I am feeling like comitting suicide now as being a salaried person it is really difficult to bare such financial burden.
I have filed a complaint with the banking ombudsman and the consumer court and hope for some releif. I
If any one in this forum has any suggestions for me or has any way out, . please do help me out. I shall be thankful.
