Oh,God after reading so much reviews on this HDFC card , I am angry,but little help. Just check my experience.
I got a card from the bank a year ago,i have used regularly and paid on time.
In 2004 Diwali period ,they have float one assured gift scheme,in which a person who uses a card for some amount in particular will get a assured gift depend on the use.
I used the card for Rs.17000 ,paid on the time.and as per promo I was eligible for a 3 days 4 nights free at resort in any nine locations including goa. I have planned for goa.
But after scheme got over, I do not recieved a single communication from them. Then I contacted the branch in my area,and see the answer.
Please give all the bills where you have used your card.
The bank knows everything ,where we used card for how much and when ,then why he is asking for the bills.,next who keep bill safe which are used in hotels ,ticketing etc.
Next in 2005 same offer and I have not used for a single rupee.
We are moving to paper less trading,plastic money ,but be aware even for writing paper less ,you have to write on paper.
But then also ,i will recommend this bank card,because they are better than other bank cards,This I can say because I used other bank cards also.
