From the day 1 I used its product i'd say they don't even think and what kind of Engineering are there in HCL when I completed my MBA from IT the first offer I got from HCL as Deputy Chief Operations Officer and payscale was less than Govt. Teacher lol . . .
HCL ME U1 Is nothing compared to the tablets coming these days because it has only 480p screen which is ofcourse not a good decision to buy. with 1 GB RAM it lags a lot
One of my friend bought it and he is still cry about this because this is the only tablet i've seen which do not approve/accept applications from Google Play lol
Verdict: DO NOT BUY!
