I used 3 brands laptop( compaq, HCL and Lenovo) till date but the worst laptop I have ever used is HCL L1114. This Laptop comes with 2 GB ram , 250 GB hard disk and pentium core 2 due processor. For each and everyting like wifi, webcam I had to install drivers in it and these worked only for 1 month and I visited a service center but even they could not bring it to the proper working condition. I know 2 gb Ram is less but it was even worst than I was supposed to be. Hardware is very cheap quality and it started making noise after 5 months of buying. I got it repaired 2 3 times but again after a month or so it start creating problems like noise and all.
Sometime it supports external disk sometime doesn't.
The service of HCL is also very bad and they dont do whatever the requirement , rest all thing they do which are not needed.
It is not a reliable laptop and one should not buy it. If you do so after few months you will give it to yours kinds for watching movies and playing games. That too can not be done perfectly on this laptop.
Total money waste Laptop.I would not recommend anybody for this Laptop.
